The contribution of the polyurethane industry to the EU economy

The polyurethane industry is a significant driver of economic growth, involving close to 1,850,000 companies, generating €233 billion annually and directly and indirectly supporting 7.2 million jobs across Europe. Due to its versatile, lightweight, durable, and insulating properties, polyurethane is essential in many different sectors, from construction and automotive to furniture and footwear.
